More video Cool videos! I didn't realize we could post those here. My friend showed up at the drags a few weeks ago with his video camera and took some quick shots of my car. Unfortunately the only one that turned out half way decent was the one in which my 11 second Maverick gets beat by a 10 second Camaro
Oh well, if not a video, maybe at least a photo. Any body else got any Maverick drag videos. I love that stuff!!!!
All I can say is ORGASMIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Johnny an 11 second run is still awesome. This 10 sec camaro What year and was it A Drag car only. I would love to see video or pics of that as well. Thanks for the heart warming scene of fellow maverickers enjoying the fruit of there work. later..... Lance

Video clips have been forwarded. Hopefully they will be edited down and posted soon. Thanks for the help getting these posted. Computers are not my strong point. The Camaro that beat me was in fact an all out drag car (fiberglass body panels, aluminum interior, etc.) so I didn't feel too bad about him leaving me at the tree. At least I can cruise my car to the burger stand, or God forbid, actually get held up at a red light for more than 30 seconds without fear of over heating. I was also running street tires compared to his HUGE wrinkle-wall slicks. My best run of the day was an 11.89 @ 114MPH. Next year with slicks and a few other goodies I hope to get the car deep in the 11s.
