Everyone is posting pictures of their Mavs so I thought I would. As you can see, it is far from finished and yes, it has porno red interior and exterior!!! It was actually a very nice car when I got it and now look whats happened. It is a 77, 302 with dealer installed AC, PB, PS. The power brakes and steering are going to go...I think?? Havent decided yet on the PS. Anyway, I hope to have it done by spring and be able to hook up with some of you oh so helpful people. Looking forward to the next meet, round up, mini or just get together...

Hmmm.... I kinda like the color...somethin tells me she'll be a beaut when your done. Looks like a solid car too.
If your thinkin of losin the the PS to gain HP, I did and I dont regret it.
Just because I have forearms that Popeye would envy means nothing:p
Seriously though...I'm runnin 8" tires on the front and it doesnt seem to make that big a deal.

I'm a blue person myself but there is something about a red car that just makes it stand out. Keep the pics comming as you progress.

    Jim, it looks good!!!(y)
What size bumpers are you going to put back on it? The originals or the early small bumpers?

Robert, a word of encouragement. Slow progress is better than no progress, I am just impressed at your ambition to take on such a project!!!

Small bumpers are going on it. All the mounts are already done, just waiting for paint to put them on!

Roberts project is way beyond me...I cant wait to see the finished product.
