Every one is getting dirty trying to get there mavericks to go faster or buff it to a sheen. Mavericks also have a really cool story that will make you love your maverick or comet Even More!!! Does anyone out there know any history on mavericks or comets??

most of us do know the history of our cars, i know a good bit , but some are just a book full of info on these cars...

302 cars didn't get extra shock tower bracing until atleast 1973 ...

 

Both are correct.

My 1972 V-8 car didn't have the shock tower bracing.

 

It was suppose to replace the Falcon.

 

Pretty sure Mavaholic's 302 Sprint doesn't either ... nor did the White 1972 302 Grabber I sold Hawko ...

 

As far as I've seen, 73 was the first year.

 

Mavaholic (Dennis) car was originally a 6 cyl.

 

Really? I did not know that ... Since he bought it new I assumed he would have got a V8 ...

 

They made mavericks in Brazil up to 1979.
