    Lori.

It depends, you knew that though didn't you.

If you are referring to the '70 Maverick that you
have listed next to your name, and it is original,
it will be a 6 cyl. There are not an awful lot of
highly desireable drivetrain parts on those cars.

These are a few of the items that you may consider
posting for sale here, or E-baying.

    Exterior:
    Rust-free fenders, hoods and doors
    Good grills withour cracks
Good bright trim throughout the car
Good side windows. You may be able to sell front and rear glass.
    Lighting assemblies all around
    Side mirrors in good condition
Bumpers, dentless ones are desireable. Rusty is fine as long as
    the price allows for rechroming.
Front and rear valence panels in decent shape (gravel pans on
the lowest part of front and rear)

    Interior:
Door panels and armrests-black ones are most popular
Bucket seats if you have them, benches aren't very valuable
    Dash pads- without cracks
    Speedometer assemblies
If yours is a straight drive, the clutch and brake pedal assembly
    is an item in demand.
Steering wheels without cracks are hard to find.
Sun visors seem to be a reasonably valuable item.
Kick panels without modified speaker holes.

That just about does it. I am sure there are more that I
have not mentioned that others may add. Carpet and headliner
is pretty cheap so I don't think anyone will pay much for them.

    Good Luck-

    Seth

Are you talking about parting out a decent running car?, maybe i read your post wrong. If it is in decent running shape I might buy it outright, I am looking for a maverick.

I have a 70 mav, gold or sand color, straight 6 105hp, 7,500 miles original. The only thing that has been replaced is the belts and i have the original ones. Also the one fender was repainted but you can't tell. Has a few little scratches but is so close to perfect. It is DEFINETLY for sale.

My orange mav i would really like to replace the flywheel and drive, but i am having a problem finding a flywheel, thats why i ask about parting it.

    Lori,

    Thanks for your reply.

I am interested in your car. Can you either post pictures here or email some to me.

also, is it drivable,... paint and cosmetics are not top priority for me. But I do need to have it in driveable condition. and if you could let me know what it would need, if anything in the lines of mechanical. (just to know)

    Ooops forgot asking price :)

    thanks again.

    Glen

I talked to Lori, she said this car was apraised for $8000, but was selling it for $6000. It has 7500 original miles on it and she said it was in great shape. It is her grandmothers car.

she probibly wont get $6000 out of it, if she parts it out.
