I just called John R Spring and talked with shop and the main office. They don't know when they'll be available yet, but she told me to call her back next Wednesday. She'll be reviewing a few of these issues and I assume will be applying some pressure to whoever her supplier is. Anyway, I'll keep everyone updated.
I just called John R Spring to get an update. They said the order is in shipment and is in Florida right now. She told me they should be receiving the shipment by the end of this month or the the first week of June at the latest. The order is in the hundreds. I don't know how long it will take them to start drop shipping, but it sounds like they're coming soon.
Yep.....that's happened to me three times with these springs. It's a shame too.....because I've always liked JC Whitney. I would think that their computer would not and should not accept any more orders until their supply is corrected.
They cancelled my order too. I called them back and they reinstated the order - which was good because it had free shipping. After the order was reinstated the estimated ship date was immediate. I've had the same experience with other companies. Supposedly they can't hold a pending credit card transaction for so many days. You can also order the springs direct from John R, but the shipping is more.
Got an email from JC Whitney this morning Free shipping at $75 use code SEEAEX7 at checkout, good till 5/31/07
I ordered the 4-leaf rear springs from JCW on 5-26-07 they were supposed to ship on 6-05-07, Fedex just delivered them. I am very happy.
I got my springs on Friday. They look good and I hope to get the installed soon. If anyone is needing to buy springs, they are obviously in stock and shipping.
I went local with mine. I wanted the 4 leaf ride stiffness, but without the increaed ride height. It was somewhere around $200, and since they make their own, it took a day. I have beem happy, although I should have gone a little stiffer.
