Currently I own a 1994 tbird i'm working but going to be purchasing a 75 grabber this summer
i've located a cheap grabber hood. the problem is that while the outer skin is in perfect condition the underside framework is kind of holey. so my question is is it possible to skin the grabber hood and transport the topside to a standard non-grabber hood's underside. Thanks, Dave

    Yes.

Just be careful not to tweak the skin as the thin metal can warp easily.

If the rest of the underside is good, I think you'd be better off by just replacing only the bad portion rather than the entire thing. To remove the entire framework while saving the outer skin is going to be a major undertaking.
