ok so when takin stuff off of my engine i didnt look where all the little hoses went.. : / anyone know maybe a guide or a good picture of where the hoses that are on teh right side of a 1974 Inline 6 would go? thanks
the only one you really need it the one for the transmission. theres also the vaccume advance for the distributor but i think that plugs into the carb. theres a metal line right near the exhaust manifold that connects to the carb's choke. the other ones lead up into the air cleaner to help warm it up in the cold winter months, depending on your climate you probably dont need 'em. sorry i cant be of more help. good luck
PCV goes on top of a valve cover and goes to the carb vacuum line from intake goes to tranny oil pressure lilne comes off right above the oil filter on the drivers side ( if it is a 302) water temp should be on the intake show us what wires/lines you have and we will try our best to tell you what they are and where they go
he said its for a '74 I6 so i assume he's talking about the vac ports on the intake log i think '74 will also have an egr hook up. its a metal circular piece below/behind the carb with a 1/4 in. vac port
yeah its an I6 but i think i have it all connected except there is a tri tipped connector that has one epty spoke and sucks in when teh car is on... any ideas?
