    Might of figured this out.

My buddy Tom and I got a hood skinned out with new scoop. Came out pretty good, steel hood an Harwood scoop. Lots of finish work on the harwood.

Engine mounted up and set, Stripped out firewall and floors. Pretty crapping looking also.

The more we worked on it, the more we tore down. Going uphill now! New tunnel, floorpans, firewall, brakes, wiring, complete rear end (housing pumpkin ladder bars brake) fuel system. Hope to have ready in 2 months!

'Looks like it'd been easier to start out with nothing and start adding material. Ha!

I know it's going to be a blast once you get 'er done and something that you'll both be very proud of.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Thanks all! I scan the pic's then can post normal size, Maverick Forum, ebay and porn(just kidding!) is about all I know on the puter!

Car started out years ago as a class act chassis, the (I'm guessing) it passed hands and everybody just tinkered with it. I can't imagine any one running mid 8's with the way the rear was welded up! Brackets way cold welded, incomplete welding. Gas lines was home galvanized fittings an copper tubing, big kink near rear! Car probably would've ran 7's if had full line! just kidding

Wiring had more house nuts an splices than Jamie got cars! All ripped out along with fuel system. Firewall was chintzy looking along with floor pans.

As I said earlier, complete rear, ladder bars (was going to go 4 link but stuck with the ladders, too much work as it is) and brakes are being replaced. I do like the looks much better with a hood and my buddy Tom did a terrific job skinning an scooping it! Thanks again Tom Terek of Johnstown!

Will post some more pic's later, can't wait to post the ones with that great smell an tire smoke!
