I'd like to meet Jesse, shake his hand, and hope that one day, I can be half the fabricator/welder he is. Is Monster Garage still on? Might not like most of the projects, but the solutions to all the build problems is what amazes me
I met him. I talked to him, shook his hand and then "watched" him the rest of the day. I've seen him at another show before also. Must have been 2 bad days... The one time i met him he was still shaking hands and chit chatting but seemed like he didnt want to be there and was "evasive" of fans there I guess you could say. Just not the "ultra friendly" guy on TV that I would have expected. He was still alot nicer than some of the guys there. Just wasnt near as friendly as Id expect. I guess he could have not shaken hands at all to be rude, but atleast he did that
Heck, I'll jump on the "I had a bad experience with JJ also" wagon. He came across as very arrogant, as he does (did?) on his shows. I don't particularly care for the "I'm a bad-azz and you're stupit" persona - especially since I'm the one who is the stuper smfart bad-azz. Edit: He couldn't go down the 1/8th mile track straight if he was on rails.
Agreed... His attitude got really bad when he lost to a "no name guy" I miss going to the shows with the guys I went with, but the guy that ran the shop here closed up due to him going to rehab
I met Jesse James last year, when I was in California, for the Knotts show. Met him, at his place of business, shook his hand. Seemed like a real nice guy. Wish I could've met his wife Sandra. Checked out his bikes "for sale" in the showroom. No price tags on any of them. Guess if you have to ask, you can't afford it...LOL
I have showed this site to David Freiburger, Rob Kinnan, and Jerry Pitt... 3 of the biggg guys at Hot Rod.... I also might have partially influenced to inclusion of the Maverick in Hot Rod Magazine... despite the insults
