My dad worked at the local small dealership for 40 years so I never really had a choice of what kind of car I liked, fortunately they were Fords! I do not own a Maverick but have a Mustang and of course am interested in all things Ford. I had a buddy in high school who's family bought the first Maverick (Antiestablishmint) the dealership sold. We tried but could not tear it up. I always admired the simplicity and toughness of that little car. I have some questions about Mavericks and should have soaked up a little knowledge hanging out at the Ford garage many years ago so maybe I have some answers too.
