After a month of 55-60 hour weeks racking up some serious money this is what we have done on the 72'

GM Hei module, Header, Electric fan, and soon to be installed Msd 6AL ignition box, new front suspension, disc brakes.

Picked up a good bit of power and gas mileage... Feels like a new car :drive:

Performance? Close to whatever a 2005 Acura RL runs..

    Wrong forum.. Fixed..

Next mods? take the 250 we got from dan and install mikes new 6cyl head then install a new timing chain set and agressive cam :drive:

Well, it for sure isn't any show car, but it's a great daily driver. I installed the MSD 6AL box and MSD Blaster TFI coil last week. Between that and the header, it made a very noticeable improvement in the perfromance of the car. Put the new suspension on a few weeks ago, which came from Mustangs Unlimited and was sold to us by the one and only Ralph Price (Greengrabber). :) I had totally forgot he worked there. Suspension has Polyurethane strut rod bushings and sway bar bushings/endlinks. They were diggin' the Fiat at Mustangs Unlimited for sure. :) Installed front disc brakes from our '76 parts car. Had it aligned at Tires Plus. The car drives excellent, rides great and it STOPS really well (Frank ;) ) . Still trying to talk Tylar into a better rearend gear and a T5. :yup: We are going to start doing body work next.

Ohh... for comparison, here is what the car looked like when I drug it out of Clint Deal's back yard on December 1, 2005 for $100. :) He was going to part it out. The trunk was full of beer cans, corn and saw dust... every brake line on the car was rusted through, rubber lines rotted in half, fuel lines were junk, all the wiring was a butchered mess, had been sitting for a LONG time with no engine or hood on it. It has 32,000 miles on it since then, or just over 160,000 total miles on the car now.
