:bananaman Just found and bought a 1974 comet gt with 302 auto on floor, the hood is great shape w/ scoop plus all the extra chrome pieces from other cars he acquired before he lost interest in the car,,It has the factory alum slots with the caps which are in great shape just needed polishing,,,the interior has buckets and all the do das,,the seats are ripped but can be redone,,all the pieces are there,,,for 750 canadian,,,its a gold mine of parts,,the engine was rebuilt last year,,i got the receipts,,the mirrors everything is there and only three blocks away from my house,,,never moved since 2004,,was under boxes,,,the body is gone though,,sask winters are tough on a car ,,

the 77 is going to be converted to a clone gt !

now the people who are drooling,,,the motor plus all the v8 parts to convert to v8 ,shifter plus hood scoop are going to the 77 plus the power brakes and yes,,,the rims,,,the buckets seats,,,

but i will advertise parts here before evil bay,,,as you people helped me when i was looking and scrambling for parts,,

i do have later high bucketseats from a 1973 gt plus a hood scoop, and extra mirrors from the car in kamloops that I got parted out,,to be sold later,,:thumbs2:

i will forward the vin to the registry as going to the junk yards,,

Yes ,,virgina there is a santa claus,,

    pics later to be posted

    Ron

FYI ... 74 buckets will not be a direct swap to a 77 because of the different floor pan ...

    Nice find ...

Only the passengerside seat will not fit the way it is, driverside will work and with a little work you can convert the passengerside to fit with the tracks from the 77. Good score(y)

Congrats Ron, nice score! Is that the GT you were telling me about when we met up? Maybe the wife won't notice it right away...

BTW too bad you got stuck with those aluminum slots...I'll be happy to take them off your hands when you get tired of them :yup:
