the starter is kicking on as soon as i connect the battery. never had this problem before as the car was running normal a couple of days ago. and i havent messed with any of the wires. all connections seem fine... any suggestions?
Most likely your solenoid has gone bad although I have seen low battery power cause one to do the same thing. If your battery is good and hot, buy a new solenoid.
Yea, sounds like the solenoid is stuck. Try lightly tapping it with a screwdriver handle to free it up, then try again. It it's fixed, you know its the solenoid.
after further inspection one of the terminal connections at the solinoid was cracked and hanging on by a thread fixed the connection solved the issue
