speakers up front

    Man! That looks great!
    I know where some old Jeep trucks are too!
    Now I gotta make another trip to the yard... darn you.;)
    They look very close to the factory parts.
    Could very well be... AMC sourced most of their parts from GM and Ford both when they were nearing the end.
    Most had GM steering columns and keys while the engines were fitted with Ford distributors and carbs. There was much more too, but those are off top of my head.

    Stopped by my local yard yesterday.
    The Jeeps all must have been the wrong years.
    They had grilles that would have worked, however they were riveted into the door panels and I didn't have tools to get them out.

    I ran across a 77 Merc Marquis.
    It had the correct grilles in the front doors.
    As a matter of fact, they look almost identical to those Wagoneer panels, with the 6 clips and all.
