i was wondering if it would be bad to cut the springs to lower the front?

Probably been disscussed before but...I wonder what putting 6 cyl springs in the front would do?

you need a inside coil spring compressor and it helps to have an air compressor and an impact gun.. you can do it by hand.. but its a pain in the butt

compress the spring.. remove it.. un compress it.. cut off one coil.. or 1.5 coils.. and compress the spring.. put it back in.. and it looks nice..

    i cut off 1 coil..

    and i like the look
i would have gone more.. but i thought it would have been too much

they are softer and will not support the front as well..

i had 6 cl springs in my car, of course they were 34 years old, but when i would go over a speed bump after i put the 302 in, i would bottom out and hit the header onthe ground

i put 302 springs in and cut out one coil.. it works great
