Thanks for the reply. the other person still won,t accept your answer. This all stems from a Canadian built and sold Grabber from Summit Ford in the Toronto area. It is on E-bay for sale with 27,000 miles and has been down in florida most or all of its life. The seller has a large supply of history with the car and even the dealer selling label is still on the back panel of the car. It is supposed to be a virgin car and never altered. nice car though.Ron

Never factory installed. Probably dealer added.

yeah it very well could have been added by a dealer.. i bet they might have taken a chin spoiler from a mustang and modified it to fit a maverick and sold it with it on, they might have thought by adding them, the maverick might have sold better.

no way of knowing if it was a succesful mod or not.. but i defintely like the chin spoiler on the car

Remember,,, back in the 70's many dealers did the add on thing. Very well could have been dealer add on. But I am fairly certain it did not leave the factory that way. If it did,, probably the only 1, and that doesnt make sense.

Yeah I know, but this is something (to me anyways) a potential BUYER may want to know, not someone just picking grass!
