So, under the factory paint on my '72, look at what we found after soda blasting! The top of the car, those words are sanded, on the radiator support, that is left over grease pencil!
Fill in the blanks, I am sure it probably wasn't rated G(expecially because it came from a factory line!).

Reminds me of a guy I use to work with having a house built,

The mason doing the chimney didn't do exactly as the owner wanted and my buddy gave him a lot of grief. After the house was done, my buddy went up on roof to inspect the cement work and found written in the cement cap of chimney,,, This guy is a real --- hole

Needless to say they came out and replaced the cap!

I've been told that around Christmas they would sign the inner roof of the last car off the line before the holidays (at St.Thomas) so if you pull the headliner you may find something interesting???

That's pretty cool!! We have similar stuff happen here at work. Although some of it's not so good. Some parts make it to assembly with NFG written in big red letters on it.

I'm gonna veer off topic and ask you for some details about your soda blasting.

    What media did you use?

    What blaster did you use?

It is a local shop that we use that is wonderful. I can get you his name and number if you would like(it wouldn't be too bad from IN). We drop it off, it is done in 2-3 days, no sanding, etc. and we get to know how bad the body work was underneath! This last car, the paint was so horrible on top of the factory paint, that we did some parts chemically ourselves. The even painted over the vinyl stripes! I am a big fan of having it soda blasted, especially because we can be doing something else while it is happening. We have to time it well so we can put primer on it soon after we pick it up and the weather is not bad during transport so it gets wet, etc. since we have an open trailer.
