i took my car to the inspection shop since the sticker says 2000 and they say that i need a whole new turn signal switch for the steering column..does anyone know where to get these??? ive searched everywhere and it wont pass without this...its a 77 maverick 200ci
how would an...inspection shop...know you need a...whole new turn signal switch for the steering column.. to know that they would of had to have pulled the steering wheel. they sell them for some of our cars at ...auto zone...advance auto..napa. ... ...
I just replaced the turn signal switch in my 72 mav. I ordered it by calling Autocrafters. Got it this past Sat and had it in in about 10 minutes. Local auto parts stores told me they couldn't get me a new one. Good luck with yours.
I would do some further investigating. It may just be a faulty bulb,fuse,or wire. These days, most inspection stations will tell you anything to get the older cars off the road. That is just my
