Turn signal help!

    i took my car to the inspection shop since the sticker says 2000 and they say that i need a whole new turn signal switch for the steering column..does anyone know where to get these??? ive searched everywhere and it wont pass without this...its a 77 maverick 200ci

    how would an...inspection shop...know you need a...whole new turn signal switch for the steering column..:hmmm: to know that they would of had to have pulled the steering wheel.

    they sell them for some of our cars at ...auto zone...advance auto..napa.

    I just replaced the turn signal switch in my 72 mav. I ordered it by calling Autocrafters. Got it this past Sat and had it in in about 10 minutes. Local auto parts stores told me they couldn't get me a new one. Good luck with yours.(y)

    I would do some further investigating. It may just be a faulty bulb,fuse,or wire. These days, most inspection stations will tell you anything to get the older cars off the road. That is just my :2cents:
