Universal Trans Crossmember for Fords

    I have seen this used on Mustangs before. It works well. There are some caveats though.

    If your trans tunnel support is narrower than a Mustang, you must grind off the extra length from the spacers.

    If the bolts on the trans mount do not line up with the trans tunnel brace, you will still have to modify this to make it work. i.e. AOD trans mount is too far back to allow this to work without modification.

    On a Mustang, this is a really easy installation. Position the trans. Bolt on the center section to the trans mount. Add remaining pieces like with an erector set. :)

    They show a pic of how they overcame the length of the AOD.
    They bend the slotted arms towards the rear and brace them with the tube spacers.
    Looks mighty easy to do.
    I can't see an issue with using it on a Mav. :huh:
    Would look great on a T56!
