question on grabber scoops

    i would like to add some grabber hood scoops to my maverick, ive seen them on ebay and have been wonder where do they attach? how do they attach?

    you have to have a grabber hood

    you can buy one from the junkyard or you can buy a fiberglass.. be prepared to spend a little more than usual on a grabber hood.. they are not easy to come by

    ok, sounds like thats probably out of the question then, haha. i am definetly not gonna put stick on scoops on it

    you can get one out of fiberglass for about 300.. steel original one.. runs about 200 or so..

    ^^^ $200 for a grabber hood???? Where are you buying these things???:rofl2: The last decent one I saw on ebay (no rust) sold for over $500.

    I got mine for 30 bux but I had to do alot of work to it to make it nice .

    there have been a few people on here selling them for 2 bills..

    if someone sold it on ebay for 500 bucks, it better have been in absolutely perfect condition, or you got ripped off

    I didnt but it. It was just the last good one I saw on there. I would never pay that for one myself, but a perfect rust free hood (in primer) would bring alot more than $200 IMO. Matter of fact I have my eye on a rust free one, but I'm going to have to buy the whole car off the guy to get it.

    i bought my grabber hood for $100 and only needed minor work. some people just get lucky sometimes...

    Yeah luck seems to be a big part of it. If you ever find someone that knows what they have you have to pay an arm and a leg for it.
