Called by different names, "Ram Stacks" being one. Usually on individual Weber style carbs (one carb/cyl).
takes the place of a single 2 or 4 barrel carb and air filter. looks reaaly cool too. someone spent some money on that set up.
tough to tune from what I would think, but kick azz none the less, I toyed with the idea if I came across an intake cheap
There is a company making that set up in both carbed and FI versions. I think its the best looking induction set up ever. I'd take it over a blower.
In theory, by using a dedicated carb for each cylinder, you can optimize the air/fuel ratio in each individual cylinder as opposed to an overall average of all the cylinders. This would be a good thing.
