a time back i read that it's a problem went you put sub frame connector on and then put the cal-trac on.i am planning to get subframe connector from alston or doug herbert, they will be bolt on then i may weld them later.any help will be a big help:-thank you morris-
Many people have problems (Maverick Man, for example) with the Caltracs hitting the connectors. My Caltracs barely clear the Chassis Engineering connectors when I use the lower hole on the Caltracs, and I can't use the upper hole yet due to the bolt hitting the connector. If you get the Caltracs first then you will be able to buy connectors that fit or alter some so that they won't interfere with the Caltrac movement.
Frame connectors that aren't home made or if Dan is still making them are the only way that I know of not to have these issues. The ones that Dan had been selling were nothing more the tubing cut and bent at the correct angles for welding in place. They clear the caltracs without any problems, but keep in mind that the more you do to increase your 60's the harder the street ride will become. Dan please post to this and let the other members know if you are still selling your sub-frame connectors. I will try to get some pix's of mine later today if I feel better, sick today. Terry

I've got Dan's connectors and Caltracs...they work together flawlessly! I've also got the Rancho shocks that they recommend. If you need pictures, let me know. Good luck!
