If I order the JCWhitney leaf springs and the shackle kits from AutoKrafters, do I need any additional rubber bushings or will I get what I need with the springs and shackle kits?

For those that have the JCWhitney 4-leaf springs, are you happy with them or do they ride too rough? Thanks.

I have the JCW 4 leafs and have no problems with them.

I love my Whitney 4 leaf springs. You won't really notice a difference in ride height (maybe 1/4"), and just a little firmer drive.

Get the 3-1/2" shackles (AK part #FS772 $19.95 vs the 4": ones for $47), they are the stock length, and much cheaper (at least they were when i bought them last year).

I don't remember if they came with the bushings, I am thinking they did. Call them and verify that the bushings come with the shackles.

The front bushings are already in the leaf springs.

Very happy with my JCW Leafs. They come with the front bushings but not the rear. I ordered the AK 3 1/2" Shackles with bushings. Do they have the free shipping offer still going? Good luck!(y)

I would order them anyway, usually they say 1-2 months, and then they ship out in 2 weeks...

Do a search, someone else has bought them for similar price from another vendor.

I ordered mine from JC Whitney 3 weeks ago and now they canceled my order because they say they're back-ordered for 1-2 months. Who's the other vendor that I can get the springs from for the same price? Thanks, Craig

I have the JCW 4 leaf springs, yet to be installed. The shackle/bushing kit I ordered with them AND the bushings at the auto parts store are a smaller diameter than the rear spring eye.
    Bushing diameter 15/16"
    Sping eye diameter 1-1/8"
Has anyone else ran into this and if so, where did you get the proper bushings?
    Thanks,
    Brad

Just got a call from JC Whitney....the leaf springs are now on back order until August. Wish they could have told me that when I placed my order 3 weeks ago.

Sucks about JCW ... I ordered mine from there last Summer ... pretty sure they were on sale at the time plus a free shipping promotion going on .... They are in my Yellow Maverick and work great.
