my wife surprised me this year on my birthday with the Eastwood powder coating gun:bananaman :bananaman :thumbs2: . i have wanted one for a while but never splurged and bought it. now i just need to build my work shed in the back yard and get a spray room set up and i can begin experimenting. i can't wait. this gives me an excuse to go ahead and build my work shed. hey wait!!! that means i really got two gifts in one. YEAHHHHHH i will post some pics as soon as i get started. might be a little while but i will get that work area built. if anyone has any tips and or tricks to share please do.

Your wife should talk to mine! I might get the welder that I want! And every man must have a work shed even if you only use it to get away and drink beer with your friends.

Woohoo! I enjoy using my powder coating gun. Im not sure how you plan on baking your powder coat, with an oven or a heat lamp, but I liked the oven for small stuff. I grabbed an old electric oven (not gas, powder + gas BAD) and use it in the basement.

    Have fun!

powder coating is easy once you get the gun setup with the right amount of air flow, electric charge.. etc..
