I did a search on the Forums and discovered the California Car Cover Co. was the car cover to get. So I bought one. Today I put it on and I am not happy with the way it fits. It seems like it is too small. The rear and sides are showing about 3" of paint. Maybe I was expecting something different for $213 or is it just my luck that I got a bad cover. Has anyone else had an issue with the way this cover fits their car. My car is a small bumper and the cover is the Stormweave.

I got the $30 version from Costco, yes some of the bottom does show, but much better than the sun and rain.

    Dan,

I went to covercrafts website to look at covers. How long are our cars? Mine is 1970.

Nick, I have the same cover. Mine fits pretty nicely. It does sag in the
rear below the bumper. Other than that, it fits nicely.

I bought the same cover for Dad's truck. It fits tighter. I had to talk to
CCC about issues with his. It fit tightly around the chrome side mirrors and front bumper. On the left side(it sits under a carport getting sun exposure) the cover had spots where it appears to have melted. After discussing this with CCC they disclosed that light gets through these covers and on chrome it builds up heat and will deteriorate the cover if pulled tightly against chrome.

Just an FYI. I would call them back and ask for an exchange if it is tight. Mine has the '73 front bumper and it's not tight.

    Seth

If it gets to the point where they cannot figure it out... I can go down to CCC and test fit one of them on my car... It is only about 15 minutes away from my house....
