I've got a '73 Grabber up on the hill, was a 302,column shifted auto, power steering, bench seat car. Also got a '71 Grabber, was a 250,floor shifted auto, bucket seat car w/A/C & power steering.Had(sold the car)a '71 Grabber,200 column shifted auto bench seat car.No power steering and odd to me,no sport mirrors.Had the hood & rear spoiler, reflective black side stripes and the "93" in the vin too.Drivers door had been swapped, but pass side looked original to the car(paint looked original too, looked for filled holes where a mirror may have been on the right side). Were the sport mirrors an option as well?Every other Grabber I've had has had them.

Color-keyed Carpet was included in the Grabber package. Heater was always standard. Although it's pretty rare to see a Maverick without a Radio ... I think they were options in the early years as well ...

hmmm... that's interesting. i thought all Grabbers had the sport mirrors as it was part of the 'Grabber package'. and i've seen just about every year Maverick w/o a radio so i believe it was an option for all years. i still have a delete plate from a '76 parts car. something i didn't know though.... i never knew you could get a 'vinyl flooring' instead of carpet.

My first 72 Grabber had high back buckets and a floor shift. It also had the little maverick emblems on the door panels (God rest its soul). My second 72 grabber had a bench seat column shift and no emblems on the door.

    Sold my 1971 Grabber
170 was standard Mav 6 at that time. 200, 250 were options. A/C, mini console with or without clock, bucket seats, PS, 302, C4, AM/FM were all options on the grabber as with non grabbers I believe. Later Mavs got other stuff.
