I wonder if anyone ever made a mav body for rc's. I want a new RC project besides another 4X4. Sounds like It would be fun. But the biggest hold up is finding a body. If anyone knows anything has suggestion or even thinks its a cool idea. Say something!

Hey, if you go to the free maverick parts forum someone is offering to give away a body.

(Edit: I just checked and that offer is someone from GA... it'd probably be easier to get one from a junkyard. Nevermind)

Haha, my immediate thought was "Rock Crawler"

Must be because I had just read that other topic.

an RC car is stypically a 1:10 scale or a 1:12 scale

you can always call up Bolink and see if they will do a 1:10 or 1:12 scale maverick body, if you do that, give me a call, i will gladly buy a body from them with you.

and heres the email i got

Thank you for your interest in BoLink R/C Cars. Molds for new bodies run
int the area of $1,500 to $2,000. As a result we would not be able to run
the Maverick body without some additional interest from the R/C community.

    Regards,
    Tim Bruns

I'd be interested in one too, I had done some research on this last year and didn't have any luck either, I'll keep an eye out and if I ever run across one I'll post it. I have a few vintage buggies and trucks plus a couple cars, some gas some electric, fun stuff.
