I can thank my wife for this one. She being Cuban and speaking spanish had to have the Latino package when we got our new DISH system. They have Discovery channel in this package and there is a Latino version of Rides! Most of them are shot in Brazil. I have my DVR set to tape every episode hoping to catch one with a Maverick. So guess what was on last night? A whole Rides devoted to the Maverick! You guys know of Batistinha, you've seen some of their cars on the board where thats where the show was shot. Pretty cool seeing them build a drag Mav and racing it against another Mav at the track. Could'nt understand a word but still a pleasurable viewing experience. Just had to share! It's not often you see something like that about Mavericks.

Dude that rocks. That is why I love the diversity on this board and the world offers in general. I would love a copy. Maybe your wife could narrate it(spelling:huh: )?I would even pay $20.00 bucks(I know it would take some effort) for a copy if it is narrated. $5.00 for non narrated version:)D ) You would rule either way:bowdown:

I took spanish in High School but only walked away remembering a few words/phrases. I lived in Phoenix for a year and picked up some more but after 4 plus years I'm back to remembering very little.

I can speak a fair amount of Korean since my wife is Korean. I understand it much better though. I know all the stuff she says when she is yelling at me in Korean:( :D

What format does the DVR record it in? Depending on size, I could try to host it it for a short while.

I have no idea. But I think I can hook it up to my computer with the media center I have on here. I will look at it today and see what kind of cable I need to do so. Then I can either upload it which would take forever on dailup or burn some DVD copies.
Oh even though it's in Portugese since its a spanish channel it's translated into spanish. So maybe subtitles is an option, we'll see....

Try to get the recording onto your computer and let me know what format and how big the file is.
