Car Show in Mid Missouri June 24

I have been working on our annual car show, our 25th, and wanted to let everybody know when and where.

Sunday June 24 at Bass Pro Shops in Columbia Missouri
It is an all day event, with vendors, raffles, discount lunch and popular vote trophys. Last year we had over 100 Fords. It is an all Ford show.

I know there are a bunch of Mavericks/Comets in Missouri and it would be great to see you all in June. I have rebuilt our web page and it should be up in a week or two.

We had a couple of older Comets, 1964 I think, last year.

Jim, thank you for the invite. Might have to see if we can't get up a MCG mini "Gathering".

 

I would be willing to work with you all on that, that is a great idea. I have a meeting coming up on Jan 27th and I would be willing to discuss the mini meet idea with the officers and members.

It sure would be great to have 6 or 8 Mavericks together.

Would be a great location for the KC and St. Louis people to meet up. I won't be able to make that weekend though.

 

That sounds good if I am in town that weekend. I've been searching for other local car shows to go to once in a while, and I have found a few in Columbia.

 

The Car Show on the 24 June is our 24th annual event, however we also host a Pony Corral at Joe Machens Ford in Columbia in May. Once again all Fords, Mercury, and Comets are welcome. We usually have an event in Jefferson City in September also, same kind of thing withs all Fords, Mercury and Comets. We use all the events to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities as well as have a great time with our cars and friends.

I will let you all know when the web site goes back up with all the information. The Bass Pro show is held in their lot and there is a Hotel next door on the same property so it is close. There are usually cruise ins at Bass Pro during the summer and before our meet. So lots to do in Columbia that weekend.

I think that might be the same weekend as the MCCI Somerset mini-meet.
I will be in Somerset with the Somerset gang!!!!!!!!

 

I will also John, I forgot about that date. Maybe some of the Mo. boys can still make it though.
