I installed Bobcat Tail Lights on my 73. I would have prefered Chrome but these things were rusted & pitted terribly. The only option was painting. I am pretty happy with the way they turned out though.:yup:

But, it looks like you oversprayed some of that black paint onto your license plate...might want to clean that off before you drive it :evilsmile

Yellow cars look better with blackout tail panels IMO...
Therefore, I think it looks great!
I would have said the same if you left them bright, instead of black.
However I really mean it this way!:evilsmile

I don't know what a Bobcat is...but I need to find one and yank off the lights. Those are just plain "killer"!!!

May have to do a Google search to see what they look like.

It's a Mercury Pinto. Perfect car for taking parts from, as they are not good for anything else...

Anyone know if you can use Pinto lights for the same style lighting on a maverick? Since the Bobcat was the Mecury Pinto so to say did they come with the similar lights?

I'm pretty certain that the Pinto used the exact tail lights as the Maverick. Only the Bobcat was different.

Yeah, I am torn between the blackout look and the chrome. My bezels are in good condition, so I left them chrome, but black would have looked cool too...
