Just an FYI, they had the Grabber in 70', but not Grabber hood, no v-8, had spoiler, and graphics package.

My next guess would be, you must be buying the 69.5, if so Congrats!!!(y)

No, the "X" designates a test mule. Come on you guys...This car has been discussed on this forum before! You should have enough hints to put this together...

Is it the runabout? Maybe the first prototype V8 car?

I was also thinking the MaviGT, but that was a 250. Any more hints?

Nope, but close. It was the first V8 Maverick though. Another hint: This car was on ebay 6 months ago & was pulled by the owner prior to the end of the auction after only a couple of days with zero bids.

I think I know what it is! I seen this car on Ebay a while ago, it is a race car, that some of the Ford Engineers had built and they used one of the very first Mavericks that came out, and if I remember correctly the production run was 00015! My racing history is not that good, but I am thinking Gapp and Roush, but I am not sure. I know it was a Ford engineer who raced.

You win the prize!!! It was a McNall & Williams who were the Ford engineers & Doug Nash had a big hand in the car as well...Boss 302 powered!
