    Got my engine mostly together today, still like putting on waterpump and alternator and a few other odds and ends.....

    looks good. youll wish you had a nice ford blue oil pan in 3 months though. rust will jump on those like a magnet.

    The chrome was $5 cheaper than a painted one, thats why I went with it [not to mention it looks good]. Wonder if I need to clearcoat it or just maybe wax it?

    Yeah, hope to set it in the car Thanksgiving weekend, if the weather holds.

    Didn't know they made clear in high temp, that sounds like a good idea.

    Stock 84 T Bird 5.0 block and heads, Crane H-272-2 cam, Offy 360 aluminum intake, Holley 650 vac sec 4 bbl., Hooker 6901's when it goes in the car. Going to use a point dist for now, will put in a petronix in it later on....

    Lookin good...is it goin in the Mav or Comet?...short of block and/or head work I've often thought this setup provided the most bang for the buck as far as performance and streetability goes...(y)
