Went to the track this past weekend for an SSCA Real Street race ......go to this link http://www.farmingtonmotorsportspark.com/gallery/2003/091303/ and click on SSCA 10.5 shootout and look for the bright blue Comet GT. Just remember, this car is over 3000 lbs., full interior, no tubs, leaf spring suspension, and a small 26" x 10" tire !!!! more to come in the future!!
Looking real good Stephen! That things looks like it is hooking hard. I just have a couple questions. How much did the headers pick up the e/t? Last one: Are you doing that launch with the window rolled down?
well, on motor i've picked up about 2 tenths so far but that's with a bad shock so no real good data yet.....on the nitrous my times are worse due to the shock REALLY bottoming out hard.....gotta get some different shocks and tires and get back to the track!!! And yes, I forgot to roll up the window on that pass, I think I was a little nervous!!!:bananaman The pass in the picture was a 6.34 @112 mph.....
MOST EXCELLENT PIC AND NUMBERS, STEVE! It's gotta be those 6208's! Gives me 'somewhat' of a target to shoot for - I'll be happy to run a 6.5ish - on the dope. WTG! Rick
LOOKS GREAT!!! wish my car left that hard, i need a transbrake for mine and then i'd be in business lol.. but anyway keep us updated on the progress!!!
Little nervous....... yeah, but I wouldn't trade that feeling for anything. Excellent job. To bad you "have" to get married next year. It sure would be awesome to have a bunch of really fast cars at the round-up! I am going to put a little shot on mine over the winter, I figure that will get me in the 5's. Keep it going buddy!
