AJE (Anthony Jones Engineering) releasing this kit for early Mustangs, but it may work on Mavericks.

    Yeah!

See, ya'll thought we were playin! They will be fitting it for a Maverick within the next few weeks.:bananaman

It is time for these Mavericks to get serious. We have to get rid of the excuses. Chebbies and Mopars got'em too. But they work around them. Now its time for us to do the same thing! (y)

Smav, thanks for the pic! :Handshake ( I hope they are shaking hands...)

I was wrong about the Martz Chassis pricing. The cost is about $2900 for the complete front clip.

I like the looks of the AJE setup. I would be really interested in this for one of my cars.

I could see that easily going for $3000 or more. If it does cost $3000, for about $800 less you can buy the R&CMS set up, pay a professional to do all the welding if you cant, and eliminate the shock towers all together. The savings would be even more if the cost go over $3000 and I would be surprised if a Maverick kit would be priced the same as a Mustang kit. You always have to factor in R&D cost. Even if it cost $2900, you could still eliminate the towers all together and save at least $500.

I guess I know what your vote is, lol.
It is not going to cost 3k. It will be less than that. This front end should be lighter than a MII, as well.
And remember, the desing of our car incorporates the shock towers as load bearing structure. Look at any of the early Nova aftermarket front end kits. The performance models, drag or road, come with a J type bar that runs from the firewall to the front of the frame rails. When you remove that shock tower, you need to replace that support. MII's don't do that.

Now you can add a J bar to a MII front end, but that is more money as well.

    Tomato, Toemato...
