Also replaced trans w/ rebuilt C-4. Pics aren't in the order of projects done, just how the pics were taken. Pardon the mess, my garage is old and has been used alot. Big Country has helped out when he could but with job, school and family, he hasn't time to work on it as much as he would like.
color I believe it is stock Medium Metallic Blue. This is a pic of it when I picked it up in Ga. The pic flatters it alot. Haven't gotten to the bodywork and paint yet, probably next spring or summer. Since it's going to be a Street car don't need a spool.
Mine's a street car. I love my spool. Nobody who has ridden in it can even tell. When I take off from a light in the rain, I always hated the one tire to start spinning and the car not going anywhere, even if I didn't gun it and with 2.79 open gears. Since then, I knew I would need some sort of posi, and the $60 spool was the cheapest and easiest. I know, I keep getting flak about how I will kill somebody with it, but I don't drive it like in a way that would be dangerous, unless I am playing around in a safe place. On the road, I drive under the speed limit, just cruisin'
More progress Radiator support and battery box apron repaired. This is during pics, not finished smoothing, treating and painting.
Wheels I know the pic is dark but they are the same style as was on it when I picked it up. Except they are 5 lug wheels and the price was right, Free!! All I had to pay for was to get the tires mounted.
Battery mount done and all 4 wheels back on the ground. Next will be the master cylinder for the disc brakes. The hood is in primer for now. May take the trunk lid off and work it and put in primer but paint will have to wait. New engine for the race car comes after this one is on the road again. Edit: Master cylinder done, brakes bled, hood on, all it needs is the front end aligned.
