Hey guys I am pretty excited cause I never get this lucky.
I went to a swap meet in Chickasha Oklahoma this weekend.
Was just looking and getting kinda bummed by the outrageus
prices these guys were asking for stuff, thinking there were not many
good deals left. Then while my friend was haggling over some old
slot style wheels I see a Grabber hood leaning against the guys
trailer. Ask him how much he says $35.00. I couldn't believe it but offered
$20.00 anyway. He took it. The hood isn't perfect but it's better than mine.
So I guess if you look there are still a few deals out there.

Awesome deal! Even if it's got rust, I think you still pretty much stole it for $20.

I thought Jamie was the only one that got deals like that. I guess there is hope for the rest of us.

Did you keep looking over your shoulder wondering when the cops were going to arrest you for STEALING that poor vendors hood? I just can't see how some people live with themselfs, cheating some poor vendor out of next weeks lunch money. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. You need to send me that hood right now for free just so you can feel better about yourself.:biglaugh: :rofl2: :biglaugh: :rofl2:

JUST KIDDING!! Sounds like you got a great deal!!!:Handshake :bouncy:

Actually I was kinda in shock and the sad part is I must have been standing there for at least 5 minutes waiting on my friend to get his wheels before I even realise it's a Maverick hood let alone a grabber becouse the vendor is standing in front of it. If we hadn't stopped to look at the wheels I would have never seen it.
Anyway it has almost no rust just a few very small bubbles on the front lip. the under side bracing the front lip is solid. That is where mine is rusting out. The only bad spot is one rear corner is a little bent, The seller even appoligised, he said he bent the corner loading it.
He was asking $135.00 the first day of the swap meet, he said and not one person even looked at it all weekend so that morning was the last day and he didn't want to take it home so he wipes the 1 off his price. Guess thats when I showed up.
