Here is a picture of adammav's Maverick. So, I thought I would help him get his pic up for everyone to take a look at it.

Looks pretty good (y), I would like to see the engine!

    Thanks a lot Maverick Guy:)

    Engine is:

    302 (balanced)
    .040 over
    swirl heads
    roller cam
    edelbrock dual plane intake
    edelbrock 600 carb
    HEI ignition
and I'm sorry to say that is just an air cleaner sticking out of the hood:( But I dont care I love the way it looks.

Where'd you get the moon caps? Are they moon eyes? Are you using them on stock steel wheels? How much were they?

    Thanks.

Sorry for all the questions :D

Yes those are stock steel wheels. They are called "racing disks" if I remeber? I got them from JC Whitney for $60. I think they show that I have style but not enough money for rims:)

I've always wanted a car with Moon Eye style wheels on it. I never thought of the Mav being that car, until now.

AdamMav, I think I'm going to have to steal your idea. :D

Just make sure you get some tires with white leeters on them. It really sets it off! Of course that's just my opinion.

Well Adam, with what you have sticking out from under the hood you better put as big a tire on the back as you can.

The only thing you can get from the ones on there now is some nice light blue smoke and pretty black marks on the road.

Good luck with the street tires, you might have more motor then poor old street tires will ever be able to hold.

looks nice................I agree though needs bigger meats in the back. I run 255 60 15 firestone firehawks on the rear and i run 215 60 15 firehawk GTAs on the frt. I put new springs on and everything worked out nicely. Some people have put 275 60 r15 on but I believe that does require some modifications. Side pipes look great. I have always liked side exit exhuast. Once again great car keep mavericking later................
