I just promised myslef that I couldnt buy any more cars, and now I'm hoping that I didnt make that promise to anyone else. I took the back roads yesterday, and up on a rollback for all the world to see was a little white and blue mav. I had to turn around and take a look. the guy was offloading it in a pasture with some realy cool old american cars. ( 64 galaxie htop. (2) 64/65 chevelle, an old lincoln of some 50's vintage, and a 4dr 72 mav. and a 71 comet 2dr. among others) I had to talk cars with the guy ( even thou the fiance was getting irritated sitting in the mustang)
I made a deal on an excelent grill and bumper off the 4dr. ( the guy wants to sell the sprint complete, so I'm not picking it apart) I'm going to go back later today and try to deal some more.

So to the point of all this rant: What kind of price range is fair for a v8 sprint?

And if someone else did hear me promise no more old cars, I'll pass some info to one of you rich guys

Pictures! Pictures! Pictures!! we will need to see Pictures!!
You should know better than to promise not to buy anymore cars, something really good always comes along.....as for price, all depends upon condition, but I would pay upto $2500 for a good, complete V-8 Sprint (if it had air) :)

If its any help I just paid 2350 for a 6 cyl sprint. The motor gets hot everytime you start it and the Trans died on the way Home!! Any ways it looks great. BUY THE CAR!!! Save it!! Always leave yourself an out on those Promises, like I won't buy another old car unless its a great deal or I won't buy another maverick unless its a Stallion or really rare. That gives you some wiggle room!! At least that is what I keep telling my wife.

Ok Guys, I appoligize for lack of pics. I went back Sunday morn. and got the bumper and a perfect grill. the owner was being a bit of a jerk and watching everymove I made. so I didnt get out the camera or pen and paper(not wanting to make mad another maverick source) after all was paid for and in my truck we talked cars and local officials harrasment of his other storage lot of old cars, and he even let me in to see his personal stash of cars, (67nova, VW waggon on a tube chasis) So I must have made some points with the guy.

The sprint is a lot worse off than I had got to see in the dark Sat. night. D.side door is caved and its missing a lot of front end trim (everything infront of the hood and fenders). I'll try to get back out there ( take my new 69 ranchero out there and talk more cars and try to talk him out of a good looking 2dr bench seat for SVT...(y) )

Was it on the highway between Pawhuska and Ponca City?? I seen what appeared to be a Sprint off to the right at a residence as you're heading west. I saw it about a month ago. Is this the same one?
