I wil post some pics of the underside tonite. I did not have to bend anything except the pipe itself. The exhaust tips are seamless; in apperance anyway. There is only a VERY thin line that only visible at a very close view. They are highly polished and look really nice
Very nice!! Matt and I talked about this a while back in his chat room, you did a very nice job. I think they did a nice job on that green car but it needs to be finished in that the front needs an airdam that is as low as the sides and in the rear it would need a ground effect that starts as low as the sides also. Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing it, it is an awesome car! I just think the theme needs to be carried out the rest of the way.
That is a nice tip. I have had side exiting exhaust for a while (started with side-pipes) and love the sound. I told my muffler guy to leave some extra tubing there, and just cut it off at an angle. I will someday find the right tips and weld them on. Yours are very close to "the right tips"... Is there a link to a catalog or website with similar tips?
http://www.drgas.com/store/product.php?productid=18&cat=4&page=1 this is the exhaust system with tips. You have to call to get the tips only. They are not listed anywhere else
They have a link to a whole page of just tips...nothing quite as flat/oblong as you have. What I want is pretty flat and wide, but still round.
OK, here is the only pic I have of the underside. When I put it up on the lift I'll take a few more On the tips from Dr.Gas . . . like I said, you won't see them on the online catalog under TIPS, only on the complete side exhaust kit. If you call them, they will sell you the tips only. They were really nice and shipped them out right away
