    Greetings to you all!
I am very happy I discovered this website with the help of a close friend.
I thought I would write and ask if anyone out there can help me locate floor pans, a Right Hand rear quarter panel, and a RH rear outer wheel house for my 71 Comet. Also, does anyone out there offer any repro metal of any kind for these cars? Seems like I can find metal for eveything but Mav's and Comet's every year at the All Ford Nationals in Carlisle PA. If anyone that can share some info with me I would greatly appreciate it!

    Howdy and :Welcome:
Unfortunately, the only sheet metal being reproduced is quarter skins. Some have adapted mustang floor pans. I usually just make my own from sheet stock.

Welcome,,, Ed Bennet had a set of NOS qtrs at Carlisle this year. He also had other odds and ends. I think you will find sources from the replies to your thread here. Autokrafters has repro qtrs available. Floor pans some say stang ones can be reworked, dunno never done um. Once again, welcome to the board and pics of yoru car would be cool.

Welcome to the board.:Welcome: Our Mavericks and Comets are pretty much orphans when it comes to repop sheet metal. Sometimes you lucky and find someone who is parting out one that has a decent floor pan. We simply make our own in our shop. Outer wheel houses are not repopped either. If they are not too bad, they can be rebuilt like this:

    Dad?

    j/k

As others stated, not much out there. Autokrafters and NOS pieces that pop up on E-bay are the best sources.

If you would like your Comet GT added to the 1971-1975 Comet GT Registry,
    e-mail me.
