    Just got this trans. Can anyone I.D. it based on the casting numbers?[​IMG]

    1965 casting used from 65-67. Wide 8 hole case.

    whats the casting # on the tailshaft housing.

    I don't see any numbers on the tail shaft housing, but did get the following off a tag on the case:RUG

    After the RUG there should be one to three more digits. The first one will be a letter. If there is a second or third, it could be any combination of letters and numbers.

    That's my wife and it's an old photo. She now looks like she has big cheeks............:):yikes:

    Ok, Ok, I found this on an other site and just couldn't resist grabbing them... err, um it. Oh heck, they're all, I mean it's all for fun.

    Dennis, I'll check that tag in the morning. In day light I should be able to find the tail shaft numbers then too.
