    Hello all,
I have a "302" 1972 Maverick with a C-4 and I just bought a 1972 4 door Maverick with a "200" engine with a 3-speed. I have a T-10 or a Toploaded I don't know the difference but I have the 4-speed transmission. Is this going to be a direct swap? (meaning the pedals and the z bar will fit) to my understanding the 4 door and the 2 door have the same front end. One other thing too, will I be able to use the same shaft bar.
    Please advise.
    Thanks!!!

    Pedals will fit ... but you need a 302/V8 z-bar and z-bar mounts ...

THe bell housings are different. The 200 will not bolt on your 302. A toploader has a removable cover on the top of the transmission. All the guts come out from the top, hence, the name. A T10 has a side cover.
