I know there is a difference from V8 to 6 front springs, but is there a difference between 250 and 200/170 front springs? Were Grabber springs any different?

Also, anyone in So.Cal. have a set for a 250 Grabber? They guy that had my car before me cut the coils and it sits to low for me.

    Thanks,

Thought I had read here that 65-66 mustang V8 springs would work for what you are doing?

It's my understanding that all 302's used the same springs and all 6 cyl. used the same springs. Depending on what options were installed, A/C etc., they put a thicker insulator at the top of the spring.

If you are looking for stock springs, I just bought a set of Moog springs for my '76 through a local parts store. I can send you the stock numbers via e-mail if you want or can get them for you. They weren't expensive and are sold by the matched set.

Put the PN# on the board. I am sure many of us could use it.

    Thanks,

The Moog number is #8304. My 4 door is a 250 with a/c. That si what these are for. I'm not aware of different coils being used for the 302, but I've been wrong before. Also as to the insulators, Auto Krafters has them and they are only $3.95/each + shipping. Nobody else has listings for them and I even went to a spring shop that does nothing but suspension work on trucks and cars.

Last I checked there was a heavy duty 302 spring that was very stiff , I went with a 250 six cylinder spring for weight transfer !
Also I think the 200 six is less spring rate again , but don't quote me for that one . Hope this helps ?
