My uncle just bought a set they are low quality(plastic) but are good for a daily driver. They were purchased at autozone.
I know that, Auto Zone has sold the fake ones for years. You could also get chrome ones. But his link takes me to some error page on Auto Zone's site.
Clicking submit just takes you back to their front page. I have a set of the chrome fake sport mirrors that my dad had on his Comet years ago. I also see them everytime I go to Auto Zone.
I think the spirit of his post was to kindly inform those that didn't know, that there is an alternative to the high-priced OEM Sport Mirrors. Thanks for the info maverick75. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?UseCase=C001&UserAction=performAccPartNumResults&Parameters=Mirrors+%28Exterior%29%3A+Cipa+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Car+Mirror%3B+Dual+Sport%3B+3.875+in.+x+5.875+in.+Face%3B+Black%3B+Pair%3B+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
And the spirit of my post was to kindly inform him his link dosen't work. Sean, they will hold up great to daily driving usage. The ones I have are over 20 years old.
thanks Hey sean i found an extra sport mirror in my trunk, the only problem with it is the broken base but it can easily be fixed
