Went to a local car show yesterday. It was held at the local Bowen Scarff Ford dealer. Everything was free, from the registration, to food & drink. The category I was in: "1960 - 2007 Ford/Mercury". That's a huge category, 47 years of cars. Oh, well! Had a great time! Loved all the comments. Loved all the stories. And really loved all the attention. I was the only Maverick/Comet there. Temps in the 80's, sunny. Awesome vehicles. What a great turnout. At the end of the show, the awards ceremony, my name is called for 2nd place. The trophy has to be one of the neatest I've ever seen. It will definitely be put to use. It won't just sit & gather dust. I'll know what time it is. The tire turns & squeels tires, & shifts thru the gears, then comes to a screeching halt. Gotta love it!
