Right under tha upper arm on that ledge. When I worked at PBs I would lift at the furthest point towards the wheel as I could safetly get, put the 2x4 in there then let the car down on stands so as to release the load from the tires and suspension.

Anyone up for the Split fires? The DO fit the stock 302 heads...They were like 4 or 6 bucks each, if I remember correctly.

Guys, all these Dodge problems are easily solved: get a Ford!

My grandpa has 40,000 problem free miles on his '05 F150. Truck was a year old in June. The Triton 5.4 screams too, will get that big a$$ truck sideways smokeing the tires VERY easily, and I've drug cars all over the south east with it and it never hiccups. Gets about 23 mpg unloaded and about 18 towing a car. It's a great truck.

All I can say is, when they put one of these motors in a new Mustang, it's going to be an absolute monster.

scooper just swap those two front tires from side to side and see if the pull goes with it. Jamie, just meet me some where with that ford5.4 and my hemi will show what screems! :)

I admit, that Hemi is DAMNED fast, no low end torque, but get those rpms up to 6 and 7k, and you are outahere! :bananaman

I think I will do that...swap those tires tomorrow, and see what happens. Hell, they got 60,000 miles on them, shouldn't hurt if I cross-rotate them at this point :D

I have an 02 (old body stlye) ext. cab Dodge 4X4 Diesel with 118,000 miles. I had new upper and lower balljoints put in at 115,000 miles and a lift pump replaced at 40000 miles. I am on my 3rd set of tires bought at wal-mart for $400. My truck runs as good as it did the day I drove it off the lot.

Frank, those air lift bags sure are a nice option for keeping a car off ones body!

    Just to follow up...

I went ahead and sprayed a dab of lithium lube on all the clips where they contact the pads, just in case...

BUT, I also swapped the front two tires from left to right, and drove it...it now PULLS TO THE LEFT!!! So, it is safe to say that crappy worn out tires can make the car feel out of allignment. I never knew that  I knew they could give you a shimmy, or a wobble, but I don't understand the physics that would make it pull one way or the other.
