    ok i have seen some one here with shelby gt500 brake lights were can i get those at. and how hard is the conversion.

    The conversion is easy, they fit right in. The hard part is finding them. If you can find a junk yard with old T-Birds or Cougars you may be in luck. If you have to buy the parts NOS socket assemblies are around $400, $200 for used, lenses are $100 a pair, bezels are about $100 apiece. Bezels and lenses are available from Tony Branda and he may have a line on socket assemblies. If you want the turn signals to sequence it's another $70 for a kit. This is why my biggest nightmare is that someone will rearend me and break my tail lights.

    There are a lot of lights that look good also, I have seen pinto and old camaro tailights that look real sharp.

    I got chevy tail lights in 2 of my Mavericks. I needed something to slow me down!!

    Damm I WANT some of those. My Bobcat taillights look decent but I'd much rather have the '65 T-bird lights...
