I just wanted say thanks to everyone who came out to the mini-meet this weekend in PA.

It my first mini-meet, and it was great a time, and it was wonderful to get together and meet with some of the other Maverick enthusiasts . . . Russ, Scott, Todd, Wes/Joy, Steve, Brett, Mark/Laura, Jim, and Kevin that I met today. We had the best weather you could ask for and some great scenery near the lake. We didn't make it yesterday, but today we would not of wanted to be anywhere else!

It's great be a member of a club, that put on events like this!

Special thanks to Russ and Wes who helped put this together!

I guess I can't use the excuse of not having the right parts to do the conversion! :D

Scott, I was glad see you and Todd made it back home safely!
How long did it take you guys to get back?

It took us longer, we stopped once. We left at 6:00 and got home at 9:00.

Yes, we got home safely, but it did take A LOT longer than planned. We got caught in several little pockets of traffic on route 80 on the way home. At one point, it was a complete standstill. For about a half hour everybody was out of their cars justwalkin around, throwing their frisbees, and tossing a ball around. Me and my dad decided to play paper football due to our lack of real footballs.

Funny story, we were playing paper football on the top of the mav, and i flicked it so good that not only did it go through my dads uprights, it went over his head and on a direct path to the guy it the next lane's face! He had his window down and the ball went right into it and hit him in the face! HaHa, it was pretty funny, He just laughed and said "Yea, He got me!"

I had a great time at the meet. It was great seeing everybody again. Can't wait til next time.
Still am on a cloud from when Russ let me drive his car!! THANK YOU RUSS!!!!

    -Todd:)

I just wanted to thank all who attended(you know who you are). I hope next year we'll have a better turn out (hint hint nudge nudge). Todd your welcome, I knew you could handle it. You did better than your old man, at least you didn't smoke the tires off. LOL. Russ
