    I need a new gear box. No one in Memphis has them. will any Mustang gear boxes fit, if so what year? Or any other cars?

    Gear box? As in transmission? If so, are you looking for another 3 speed or what?

    Not to re-awaken an old thread... but does anyone actually know if an early year Mustang steering gear box will work in a Maverick?

    That is the best information that I have but you should be able to call a wrecking yard and ask them to look it up in their parts interchange book.

    I had someone here rebuild mines. I'm not too impressed with it but its okay.
