Hi everyone. I got a Maverick GT 302 V8 1975, it is a brazilian model and was made between 1973 and 1979 here. Maverick GT's is like the Grabber in USA, with the black stripes and the look more sport. I had other models like a two Dodge Charger R/T, Ford Galaxie and Chevrolet Bel Air 1951, but my new car, Maverick, is a great car and I like it so much. My dream is the Mustang 68/69/70, but I am happy with my Maverick now!!! Look at some pictures from my car: http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/gt302/Imagem013.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/gt302/Imagem014.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/gt302/motor04.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/gt302/motor01.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/gt302/Imagem002.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/gt302/Imagem006.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/gt302/Imagem003.jpg Best Regards Fabio Lemos
Guys, The old cars market is growing up in Brazil a few years ago and some luck guys that can have or restore a great car like a Maverick, do with a pleasure! But unfortunately, there is so many great cars spoiling in junk yards!!! But my "red girl" (my wife use call her this way) is safe in my garage!!!
Welcome aboard, very nice car. I notice you have an inside release on your hood. Did you add that or do a lot of the Brazilian Mavericks have it? Also, did you take the side markers off or did it come like that? Thanks
Nice car! I came across a '77 2 door in an old barn a while back with a (factory appearing) inside hood release.
